At 7.6 cm (3.0-inch), the TFT colour display of the EX-Z150 is so wide that it takes up almost the entire rear side of the camera. This outstanding display enables you to take a closer look at your motifs, saved photos or films.

With 8.1 megapixel resolution, you not only create photos in outstanding quality and colour, but can also edit sections of the picture, enlarge them and print them out in your format of choice. This way, your most memorable moments and even the smallest details can be captured for eternity on XXL posters, as well as in photos.

BEST SHOT motif settings are extremely practical and therefore can be accessed immediately at the touch of a button. From "Landscape" to "Sunset" your EX-Z150 readily adjusts to the most varied demands, regardless of whether you are taking photos or movies.

When you press and hold the release button, the EX-Z150 takes a photo every 0,8 second.

Up to date

Does the wrong date appear, because you have changed the settings without realizing it? Or was the time on the clock not adapted to the local time when travelling? The Date Edit function has the perfect solution to precisely these problems. The date and time can be corrected easily after the photo has been taken.

Instant

Whilst other cameras are still moving the lens out, you will take the best photos and make the best movies by far thanks to the DIRECT ON function. Your camera is ready to take photos at the press of a button – in only approx. 2.0 s*.

In Easy Mode you just take good photos in every situation with your EX-Z150, without having to check presets – or accidentally making a wrong adjustment.

The guarantee for outstanding video recordings

The extremely powerful EXILIM Engine 2.0 combines multiple components in a compact space, works extremely quickly and saves energy. The image processor also has sufficient capacity for the Advanced Auto Tracking AF function, hue adjustment to optimise dark areas, targeted noise elimination in critical colour areas and quicker image processing. The new EXILIM Engine 2.0 also ensures quick reaction times and long battery operating times — which creates great pictures.

The simple touch

Whether you're on holiday, at a party or spending time with your family - people are particularly popular subjects for a photo. It's always a pity when faces turn out blurred on a picture. The Face Detection function now offers the perfect solution, recognizing the individual faces or even entire groups, and automatically applying the best possible setting.

Outstanding pictures

With the new, Mechanical CCD Shift technology, in conjunction with the Motion Analysis system and the Anti Shake DSP*, the risk of shaky photos is reduced to a minimum.

The CCD Shift system mechanically compensates for camera movements via a mobile image sensor. The Motion Analysis technology automatically analyses the speed and direction of a moving subject – ISO sensitivity and exposure time are then optimally adjusted as appropriate. The Anti Shake DSP* is the solution for electronically resolving the problem of picture blurriness caused by shaking hands or by the movement of the picture subject. And with the Film Stabilisation function*, there is a reduced risk of filming shaky scenes due to a wobbly camera grip.

It's your choice

The EX-Z150 can choose between SD/SDHC and MMC/MMCplus cards for storing your photos and films. You can now decide spontaneously and flexibly which of these cards to use.

Getting the right angle

Pictures taken in a portrait format can be manually rotated for playback in landscape format. Now you don't have to turn the camera or your head in order to look at the picture.

How fast is really fast

The EXILIM Zoom EX-Z150 has a shutter speed of approx. 0.05 seconds* after successful focussing. Which means there is little that is fast enough to escape you!

Shoot photos faster

When you're shooting a moving subject, you need to reset the auto focus constantly, which takes time. The Quick Shutter function deactivates the auto focus if the release button is fully pressed instantaneously. The time between the release button being pressed and the photo being taken is now just 0.05 seconds*.

An eye on the time

The Time Stamp function enables you to give your photos a “time stamp” so that you can always see at first glance when you took the photo.

Custom-made

With trimming you can define sections of a photo while they are still in the camera and save them as separate shots. And so, for example, you can just cut a person's face and print it out as a photo - even without a computer.

No computer needed

You can connect the EXILIM EX-Z150 directly to a printer and have your pictures in your hand soon afterwards, printed on photo paper. USB Direct Print ist the standard EPSON printer. PictBridge connects your camera to different manufacturers' printers. Preset paper sizes help to select the right format.
