The EX-Z90 CCD chip offers an amazing 12.1 megapixels. The camera delivers crystal-clear and extremely detailed photos. Even magnifying details and photos to poster size is not a problem — outstanding quality and no loss of image detail.
The large, high-resolution 6.9-cm (2.7-inch) TFT colour display is the perfect finishing touch to the design of the EXILIM Zoom EX-Z90: It covers almost the entire rear side of the camera, providing detailed images of your subjects, saved photos or movies — in sunlight and complete darkness.
Your subjects need never again be out of focus in your photos! The intelligent AF function automatically focuses in on the ideal field of view and captures it clearly. The technology behind this feature recognises the size and contours of subjects when the shutter release button is pressed half way down and then automatically selects the optimum focus. All you have to do is relax and wait for the right moment, then press the shutter release button!
The EX-Z90 is only about as thick as your little finger - but has a 3x optical zoom. And so you will be able to see the finest details and will always be in the thick of the action.
You don't need to be an expert to create great photos
From "Landscape" and "Portrait" right through to "Night scenes" or "Retro" look – your EXILIM EX-Z90 adapts flexibly to a whole host of requirements. To ensure that all your photos and movies are a success from the start, the flat digital camera comes with 32 presettings for a wide variety of situations. With BEST SHOT, you can also create and save your own settings, which can be selected at any time.
The EXILIM camera takes control of all settings and automatically selects the ideal BEST SHOT subject mode for the current situation. So you can simply enjoy the moment and concentrate fully on your subject.
In the EX-Z90 Easy Mode, you can take outstanding photos in any situation – without worrying about presettings or applying the wrong settings by mistake.
You can adapt the flash of the EXILIM Zoom EX-Z90 to different situations. The following presets are available for this:
• Red Eye-Reduction: reduces the "red eye effect"
• Soft Flash: for ideal illumination of the immediate area
• Auto: flash is switched on automatically when required
• On: flash always switched on
• Off: flash always switched off
The Auto Macro function ensures that details or smaller subjects are in focus. The macro range, i.e. the close-up range of the EX-Z90, covers distances between 10 cm and 50 cm.
The Calendar function offers a new way to store your photos. For each day that you have taken a picture, a photo is displayed as an example. In this way you can find pictures more easily or you can make a photo diary. At a glance you can see parts of what you experienced on vacation on that particular day.
Invite your friends and relations to enjoy the best movies and photos in large-scale format. You simply connect your EXILIM Zoom EX-Z90 to a TV using the AV output.
The EX-Z90 can save photos and films of your choice on SD/SDHC and MMC/MMC plus cards. You can now decide which of these optional cards to use spontaneously and flexibly.
